On the brink of the world: faces and stories from Lacor, Uganda
During the event ‘On the brink of the world: faces and stories from Lacor, Uganda’, Humanitas University hosted Dominique Atim Corti and Daniela Condorelli, President and Head of Communication of the Fondazione Corti.
The open talk began with an introduction and some questions to our guests by the medical students. Corti then told about the birth, evolution and current management of the St. Mary’s Hospital Lacor. Condorelli then presented the graphic novel ‘Lucille of the Acholi’, an illustrated account of the life of Lucille Teasdale – surgeon and mother of Dominique Atim Corti.
