Medical licenses: new European rules for access
Do you want to be a medical doctor in the UK or in Europe?
New European rules have been set for accessing medical licenses: from January 2016, basic medical training must be 5,500 hours AND 5 years.
This means that qualifications obtained after fast track degrees in medicine or graduate entry medical programs (GEP, GMP, GEM) are not accepted anymore.
