Humanitas University remembers Professor Marisa Cantanelli

Today we come together to honour the memory of Professor Marisa Cantanelli, a true pioneer of the nursing theory in Italy. To her we owe the development of the nursing profession and its legislative, cultural, and disciplinary evolution.

Professor Cantanelli’s dedication and commitment have inspired generations of nurses, including our students in our Master of Science in Nursing and Midwifery.

Each year, we had the honour of meeting her, both in person and virtually, to learn from her wisdom and passion for the discipline.

Her legacy will live on in our hearts and in our professional practices, continuing to guide us towards Excellence.
