Department of Biomedical Sciences
The Department is the University body that performs the functions of organising and coordinating teaching and learning activities, as well as scientific research. The Department’s main objective is the full integration of activities related to research, teaching and learning, and third mission and healthcare. It sees the integration of these activities as an important opportunity to foster the development of new professional profiles in the scientific and clinical fields.
The Department is staffed by full and Associate Professors, Untenured Professors appointed pursuant to Law 230/2005, Tenured University Researchers and Fixed-term Researchers in service at the time the department was established.
The Department of Biomedical Sciences includes all degree programmes, residency schools, PhD programmes, first and second level specialised master programmes run by the University.

- the effectiveness of remedial actions and the transparency of the information published about the degree programmes
