New Counseling Service @ Hunimed

In this Academic Year Humanitas University has introduced a new Counseling Service to give you free and confidential support for any difficulties you might be experiencing. 

What kind of problems can be helped through counseling?

During your university career there might be times when you need a little extra support than your friends and family, for example when you first arrive and have to adapt to a new context or during periods of academic pressure, or when dealing with unexpected life events that impact on your emotional wellbeing.

How does counseling work?

Counseling is a process that allows you to explore those issues that are causing you concern or distress. It’s an opportunity to talk about them in a confidential setting with a professionally qualified person.
The counselor will not tell you what to do, but will help you think about your difficulties in a non-judgmental manner and find the best way to face them.

How do I reserve an appointment?

Appointment with our counselor can be booked in person or by e-mail (counselingservice@hunimed.eu). The counseling service is available every Monday from 1 p.m to 2.30 p.m. in Room 12, Building 8, first floor.
