Pint of Science: Sara Carloni and Simona Lodato bring science to Milanese pubs


Pint of Science, the largest widespread science festival, which brings some of the most brilliant researchers to pubs around the world, has come to an end. Humanitas University took part in the event with its scientists Sara Carloni and Simona Lodato.

In Ostello Bello Grande, Sara Carloni – Researcher in the laboratory led by Maria Rescigno, talked about the microbiota and its influence on our physical and psychological health.

At 10gradinord, Simona Lodato – Associate Professor and Neurodevelopmental Biology Lab Head, discussed the frontier of brain organoids and how they are accelerating neuroscience research.

During these two evenings, the researchers shared the beauty of science and the passion that leads their work, engaging the audience, especially the youngsters.
