Summer educational activities and beginning of the next academic year
Dear students,
After a few difficult months due to the spread of the pandemic, the general situation in our country and also in our region is definitely improving to the point where several activities have been reopened.
In this new phase, we are now approaching the end of the second semester of this particular Academic Year, where the University, but also you, have been personally engaged in ensuring continuity to all teaching activities. We thank you for your commitment and your participation in all our initiatives, including webinars and various cultural initiatives.
We are now preparing to close in line with your study plans the teaching activities of the second semester, including the written and oral exams, both in online mode.
As for the start of the new academic year, we are moving towards blended activities: all lessons will be offered in streaming and on demand so that anyone, even those who live far away, can follow the lessons. At the same time, there will be a physical presence in small groups in Hunimed, to ensure planned access and proper social distancing.
We are working hard to enable you to carry out professionalising activities from September onwards. They will be carefully planned in agreement with the Group’s hospitals, so that your internships are safe and organised. The Virgilio project, dedicated to research, will also continue and will be organized according to precise objectives shared with the teachers. We are also strengthening the access to our Simulation Center, for all your degree courses.
Finally, I conclude with the degree thesis: according to current government regulations, the discussions of the summer and autumn sessions will take place at the University, with careful planning and regulation of attendance. For those who cannot reach the University, we will proceed with the online discussion.
Eventually, we will change the indications and restrictions according to those communicated by the Government and the Region.
To all of you my personal thanks for the trust you have placed in us by choosing our university, which naturally encourages us to do better and better.
All my best to everyone looking for shaking our hands personally in the near future!
